Abdali Investment and Development psc is a land-development private shareholding company established to implement the development of the Abdali urban regeneration project, the new downtown of Amman in Jordan.
Abdali Psc. was formed in 2004 out of a successful partnership between the government-owned real estate developer National Resources and Development Corporation (MAWARED) and HORIZON, an international construction conglomerate specialised in investment and development of large scale real estate and construction projects. This joint venture was further enlarged when the United Real Estate Company, under the group of Kuwait Projects Company (KIPCO), joined as partner, thus bringing a wealth of proven experience to the mega urban regeneration project.
The Abdali Urban Regeneration project is the largest mixed-use development project ever encountered in the heart of Amman. To be developed on over 384,000m² of land, the project will comprise of a total built up area of more than 1.7 million sqm consisting of residential apartments, office space, hotels, commercial and retail shops as well as various entertainment outlets. Abdali with an investment exceeding USD 3 billion will be the premium central business and residential district of Amman and will catapult the city into the 21st century, placing it at par with most renowned cities of the world.
